Champagne and Canapes

Now the fun part of the day starts! Guests find their way to the Pimms and canapes, elderly relations chat like they’ve not met for years (they probably haven’t), old friends catch up, new friends are made, children are freed from the parental Be Good grip and play together.

Often everyone moves on to the speeches now, too, which can raise tears of laughter or emotion. Or embarrassment, of course.

Noise, laughter and good times. What’s not to love about this part of the wedding day?
