Brympton House in Somerset is set within 33 acres of glorious Somerset parkland and lakes and has a history that can be traced back to the Domesday Book.  The main house was built between 1460 and 1680 and is approached by a long private drive. Nestling next to the main House of Brympton D’Evercy is the Dower House which was built in 1350:

Brympton House in Somerset has been the setting for major films including ‘Chocolat’ with Johnny Depp and ‘Restoration’ with Hugh Grant, also the BBC adaptation of Henry James’ Turn of the Screw was filmed at Brympton House.
