On the Day

The Main event! Typically Courtenay will arrive with the Bride during ‘the hair’. Courtenay will record the preparations (and yes he is very discreet, and no he doesn’t insist on ‘always’ being in the room, and yes, coffee would be lovely if dad’s making it). And there’s no need to worry, he sees it every week – all the mess and chaos and confusion. Sometimes it’s bedlam, occasionally it’s calm… Courtenay just works around whoever and whatever is there – and often helps out along the way with essentials like false fingernails, tying cravats, fixing buttonholes and last-minute aisle-walking advice.

From the house Courtenay will go and catch the groom before the ceremony, and from then on he will  just go with the flow of the day, catching it all as it happens, right through to the fireworks if you want him.
Essentially Courtenay is a candid wedding photographers, unobtrusively working behind the scenes to capture your day as it unfolds. Courtenay will include a few posed photos (if wanted) with the bridal party and family/friends, and later he will take some time out for some romantic shots with just the two of you (always a welcome moment for you both to take a deep breath and enjoy a quiet word or two together). Courtenay‘s aim is always to just tell your story – ensuring that none of the important moments of the day are missed. Even those you were unaware of!

Courtenay will bring your favourite e-shoot image, enlarged and mounted in a wide border, which we pass amongst your guests, for everyone to sign for you. Courtenay will also ensure every guest receives a keepsake card – which tells them how they can view your images online after the wedding.
